WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ –  The Monmouth University women's soccer team scored three first-half goals and defeated Quinnipiac by a 5-2 final to win its sixth conference championship in program history on Sunday evening at Hesse Field on The Great Lawn.

Less than 10 minutes later, DeLuca set up Rachael Ivanicki (Colts Neck, NJ / Colts Neck [Bryant]) for right-footed shot that made it 2-0 in favor of the top-seeded Hawks.

Miranda Konstantinides (Voorhees, NJ / Eastern Regional) scored consecutive goals late in the first half and early in the second to put the Hawks up 4-0. After the Bobcats converted a penalty kick in the 53rd minute, Madie Gibson (Cape May, NJ / Lower Cape May) tacked on a fifth goal for the Hawks in the 62nd minute to increase the lead to 5-1.
