The Hawks return to action Sunday, when they play host to perennial MAAC power Marist. Monmouth suffered a 67-62 setback at Saint Peter's on Wednesday, while the Red Foxes were dealt their first loss of the league slate at Iona, 69-49, on Thursday.
SCOUTING THE MARIST RED FOXES
Sixth-year senior Tori Jarosz leads the Red Foxes at 15.6 points, 10.4 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game, shooting a team-best 45.6 percent from the floor. Sydney Coffey has also chipped in with 13.5 points and 3.6 assists per game, while Allie Clement has added 9.8 points per game and has shot a team-best 39.2 percent from long range. Â
ALL-TIME SERIES VS. MARIST
Marist has won the last five meetings, including all four since the Hawks joined the MAAC two-plus seasons ago, evening the all-time series at 18-18.

Sarah Olson scored a team-high 14 points and
Jasmine McCall and
Jasmine Walker added 12 points apiece, but the Hawks fell at hOURglass rival Saint Peter's, 67-62, Wednesday night at the Yanitelli Center.
Christina Mitchell also added a team-high 12 rebounds and three assists, while
Jamiyah Bethune narrowly missed a double-double with nine points and a career-high nine rebounds.
LAST TIME AGAINST MARIST
Monmouth gave Marist all it could handle, but fell to the Red Foxes, 63-60, last Jan. 10 at the MAC. Marist started the game on a 10-0 run and extended to an 11-point lead in the first half. But Monmouth used an 11-1 run to take its first lead of the game with 10:49 left. The Hawks tied the game twice in the final two minutes, but a Jarosz lay-up with 38 seconds remaining put Marist up, 62-60, and the Red Foxes held on for the win. Olson led Monmouth with 16 points, while
Helena Kurt added 15 points.
