The Hawks return home to face Iona Sunday evening at 5 p.m. The game was pushed to Sunday from Saturday due to inclement weather in the area. Monmouth is coming off an 87-75 victory Thursday morning at Rider, while Iona bounced back from consecutive losses to earn a convincing 73-46 win over Niagara on Thursday night.  
 
SCOUTING THE IONA GAELS
Joy Adams leads Iona at 14.1 points and 11.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 43.5 percent from the floor. Marina Lizarazu has added 11.2 points, 4.5 assists and 1.9 steals per game, while Aaliyah Robinson has chipped in with 9.8 points per game. Alexis Lewis (8.5 ppg.) and Philecia Gilmore (8.0 ppg.) are next in the scoring column before a steep dropoff to the next Gael at 2.9 points per game. Karynda DuPree has rejected a team-best 1.7 shots per game.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. IONA
Iona owns a 6-5 edge in the all-time series against the Hawks. Monmouth took the first four meetings, but since 2008, Iona has won six of the last seven. The two teams split a pair of meetings last season, with each team winning on its home court.
 
LAST TIME OUT
Jasmine McCall led five Hawks in double figures with 19 points as Monmouth defeated Rider, 87-75, Thursday morning in Lawrenceville. Sarah Olson (14), Jamiyah Bethune (14), Dana Carbone (13) and Tyese Purvis (12) joined McCall in scoring double-digit points. Monmouth shot 61.1 percent (11-18) from long range on the day.

LAST TIME AGAINST IONA
Joy Adams went for 23 points, 11 rebounds and four steals as the Gaels defeated the Hawks, 71-58, Jan. 2, 2015, at Hynes Athletic Center. Aaliyah Robinson added 17 points and nine rebounds, while Damika Martinez added 14 points. Marina Lizarazu dished out 11 assists. Monmouth was led by Mia Hopkins with 14 points, while Jasmine Walker added 13 points.
