WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TAKES ON RIDER THURSDAY MORNING

The Hawks return to action Thursday morning, when they travel to hOURglass rival Rider for their third of five Kids Day games. Monmouth is coming off a 78-55 road loss at Marist on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Broncs picked up their first league win over previously unbeaten Siena, 70-58, on Sunday.
 
SCOUTING THE RIDER BRONCS
Robin Perkins leads Rider at 14.0 points and 1.8 steals per game, while Julia Duggan has chipped in at 7.9 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Kamila Hoskova is close behind in the scoring column at 7.6 points per game, shooting a team-best 36.0 percent from long range. C'quoya Haughton leads the Broncs at 7.4 rebounds per game to go along with 6.6 points per game. Manon Pellet has run the point to the tune of 6.1 points and 3.1 assists per game.  

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. RIDER
Monmouth leads the all-time series, 26-13. The two teams have split the last 20 meetings, with neither squad winning more than three consecutive games. Rider had won three straight pairings, including two wins in 2013-14, prior to a 66-62 Monmouth win in Lawrenceville in last season's first meeting. Rider later earned a season split with a 65-55 win at the MAC.
 
LAST TIME OUT
Danica Dragicevic posted her first-career double-double with career highs of 12 points and 10 rebounds, but MU fell at Marist, 78-55, on Sunday. Jamiyah Bethune added 11 points, while Christina Mitchell grabbed double-digit rebounds (11) for the 10th time this year.

LAST TIME AGAINST RIDER
Emily Fazzini scored 25 points on 9-of-17 from the floor and 4-of-7 from long range as Rider defeated Monmouth, 65-55, last Feb. 13 at the MAC. Robin Perkins also added 11 points for Rider, while Julia Duggan grabbed 11 rebounds. Sophie Beaudry (12), Jasmine Walker (11) and Sarah Olson (11) scored in double figures for Monmouth, with Walker completing a double-double with 11 rebounds.
