While the Monmouth Men's Basketball team has defeated three power five teams since the season began on November 13, it's been the Monmouth bench that has been stealing some of the limelight away from junior guard Justin Robinson and company.
The bench, specificially sophomore Daniel Pillari, junior Greg Noack, freshman Tyler Robinson and freshman Louie Pillari have earned a reputation for entertaining and thought out reactions to the in-game success the Hawks have had. And everyone has taken notice. USA Today, The Chicago Sun Times, ESPN, CBS Sports, The Washington Post, Bleacher Report and Barstool Sports, professional and college athletes among others have taken notice of the 'most popular bench in America'. Not to mention the numerous tweets, and features the team (and bench) received from SportsCenter over the past half a week.
The squad's twitter account @MonmouthBench has exploded with over 2,500 followers in a few short days.
