Monmouth returns to action Sunday, when it travels to Hamilton, NY, to take on Colgate. The Hawks are coming off a 60-47 setback to Robert Morris on Thursday, while the Raiders also fell to 0-2 with a 73-60 loss at Cornell.
 
SCOUTING THE COLGATE RAIDERS
Colgate is led by Paige Kriftcher, who's scored a team-best 19.5 points per game, while also grabbing 5.0 rebounds per contest. Josie Stockill has contributed 11.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, while Kateri Stone is close behind at 11.0 points per game. Randyll Butler is the Raiders' clear leader on the boards (13.5 rebounds per game), distributing the basketball (8.0 assists per game) and on defense (3.0 steals per game), while also scoring 9.0 points per game.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. COLGATE
Monmouth owns a 3-0 lead in the all-time series with Colgate, including an 82-62 win last Dec. 13 in West Long Branch. Last year's meeting marked the first time in more than 20 years that the two teams had met. Monmouth took its first two wins in December 1991 and 1994.  
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Hawks fell to Robert Morris, 60-47, Thursday in West Long Branch. Sarah Olson and Jamiyah Bethune scored 11 points apiece, while Jasmine Walker added nine points. McKinzee Barker had six points and a team-high nine rebounds, while Dana Carbone hit a pair of three-pointers for six points.
 
LAST TIME VS. COLGATE
MU took an 82-62 win against Colgate last Dec. 13 at the MAC. Jenny Horvatinovic scored a game-high 17 points on 8-of-9 shooting, while Sarah Olson hit 5-of-10 three-point attempts for 15 points. Jamiyah Bethune scored 13 points on 6-of-7 shooting, while Helena Kurt added 12 points and six assists. For the game, the Hawks shot a season-high 52.3 percent (34-65).
