Monmouth plays host to former conference rival Robert Morris in the Hawks' home opener Thursday night at the MAC. The Hawks are coming off a tough 95-88 overtime loss in their season opener at Lehigh on Friday, while the Colonials have played twice, defeating Division II West Virginia Wesleyan, 124-59, before falling at Charlotte, 94-73.  
 
SCOUTING THE ROBERT MORRIS COLONIALS
Robert Morris is led by Anna Niki Stamolamprou, who's averaged 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game so far this season. Mikalah Mulrain and Rebeca Navarro have each averaged 15.5 points, with Mulrain grabbing a team-best 8.0 rebounds per game. Jocelynn Jones and Ashley Ravelli have each contributed 8.5 points per game, while Shakema Dashiell has also chipped in with 8.0 points per game. Megan Smith has also added 6.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. All told, 12 of 13 RMU players who've seen the floor this season have already scored.  

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. ROBERT MORRIS
Thursday's game marks the 58th meeting between Monmouth and Robert Morris. The Hawks own a 35-22 edge in the all-time series with the Colonials. The two teams haven't met since Monmouth left the Northeast Conference following the 2012-13 season. The Hawks swept a pair of meetings in 2012-13 and Head Coach Jenny Palmateer is 3-1 in head-to-head match-ups with Robert Morris Head Coach Sal Buscaglia.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Hawks fell in overtime at Lehigh, 95-88, Friday night in the season opener at Stabler Arena. Jamiyah Bethune scored 18 of her game-high 22 points in the first half to pace five double-figures scorers for Monmouth. Sarah Olson added 18 points, while Jasmine Walker had 13. Christina Mitchell posted a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Tyese Purvis scored 11 points in her Monmouth debut. McKinzee Barker also added nine points, nine rebounds, five assists and three steals, while turning the ball over just once in her first collegiate game.
