JERSEY CITY, NJ – The Monmouth University women's tennis team dropped its final match of the fall, 7-0, to hOURglass rival Saint Peter's Tuesday afternoon. The Hawks ran out a depleted line-up of four players, forfeiting two singles flights and a doubles flight. The doubles duo of Maria Ivanova (Moscow, Russia/IMG Academy) and Kendal Kauffman (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North) earned the Hawks' lone win of the afternoon by a 7-5 score over Elena Melian Puigventos and Claudia Hellman at No. 2 doubles.

Adriana Armendariz (Pamplona, Spain/Colegio San Ignacio [Maryville]) and Alexandra Graff (Bastad, Sweden/IMG Academy) fell at No. 1 doubles, 8-2, while the Peacocks took the doubles point as Monmouth forfeited at No. 3. The doubles loss was magnified as Armendariz suffered an injury and had to be scratched at No. 1 singles. With only four healthy players available, the Hawks dropped all four singles flights, while forfeiting at Nos. 5 and 6.
