WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. - The Monmouth University women's tennis team dropped a 6-0 decision against intrastate foe Saint Peter's, Thursday afternoon at the MU Tennis Courts.  The duo of Ashley Sandler (Jericho, N.Y./Syosset) and Dana Ferrari (Saddle Brook, N.J./Immaculate Heart Academy) scored a doubles win for the Blue and White, while Brooke Veriglione (Englishtown, N.J./St. John Vianney) won her first set at No. 2 singles. 

Sandler and Ferrari held off the Peahens' Adina Halagian and Analee Delgado, 8-6, but Saint Peter's rallied in the final two doubles matches to earn the opening point.  Veriglione downed Halagian, 7-6, in the first set before darkness halted the match, sealing the 6-0 victory for the Peahens.

Monmouth returns to the courts this Sunday at noon as it welcomes Drexel to West Long Branch.
