Mary Wilks added her team-leading third goal of the year, and senior
Andrea Lopez assisted on both.
Improving to 3-2 overall on the season, Monmouth posted its third straight shutout, as junior goalkeeper
Lia Fierro made three saves, en route to her 18th career blanking.
"Winning on the road is tough," stated head coach
Krissy Turner. "We came off an emotional result on Friday and had to battle again today."
In a scoreless match, Nomejko delivered the game-winning tally, her second score of the season, off an assist from Lopez, in the 73rd minute of action.

Andrea Lopez] is looking to get assists this year, and her teammates are cashing in on her creativity," added Turner.
Wilks, who has scored a goal in three straight matches, notched her goal at 84:01, off another feed from Lopez, to push the Hawks' advantage to 2-0.
Monmouth held a 13-8 advantage in shots, including 7-1 in the second half of play.
Monmouth returns to action on Friday, September 18, when the Hawks travel to Easton, Pennsylvania for a non-conference match at Lafayette, at 7 p.m.
