Zack Beach joined the Monmouth baseball staff as a volunteer assistant in the fall of 2025.
A talented first baseman during his playing career, Beach comes to Monmouth after serving as the Assistant Coach at Conway High School. In that role he helped to enhance the hitting averages through training and technique refinement. Beach also assisted the head coach in daily practice planning and game-day strategy.
Beach also served as the Head Coach for Canes Baseball. In that role, he led all aspects of team management, from practice planning and game strategy, while focusing on skill development and team cohesion.
Beach played at Coastal Carolina from 2019-2024 and helped the Chanticleers win the 2023 Sun Belt Regular Season Championship. He was named Second Team All-Sun Belt that season was a member of the 2023 Conway Regional Team. In his final season he was ranked No. 13 on the D1 Baseball Top First Baseman in the Nation. Beach also earned Preseason All-Sun Belt Team honors that year.
In addition to his play on the field, Beach assisted the Coastal Carolina coaches with summer camps, leading campus tours, attending meals with recruits while on visits and more.
Beach earned his Bachelors of Science in Recreation and Sport Management in 2023 from Coastal Carolina. He received a Certificate of Instructional Technology in 2024.
