Ryan Schwager previously served as a Sports Information Intern after joining the Monmouth University Athletics staff in September 2022. Schwager is the primary sport contact for football, men's lacrosse, men's and women's golf, and women's bowling.
Schwager is a 2022 graduate of Arizona State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sports journalism and minored in both digital audiences and marketing and sales. Throughout his four years as a Sun Devil, Schwager worked as a sports digital reporter covering the Arizona Coyotes and NCAA sports with the Cronkite News Phoenix Sports Bureau, a news division of Arizona PBS and a product of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications. He also produced podcasts and contributed in other areas for the award-winning Blaze Radio, a student-run radio station on ASU’s campus.
In addition, the Hamilton, NJ native has contributed content for organizations such as NJ.com, the Trenton Thunder, 97.5 The Fanatic, and more.
