Lucy Mason currently serves as the Senior Associate AD for Administation and Senior Woman Administrator at Monmouth. Mason joined the Monmouth University Athletics Staff in May 2025.
Prior to Monmouth, Mason served as the Assistant Director for Student-Athlete Experience and an Academic Coach at North Carolina Central University (NCCU). Her duties included monitoring academic eligibility for football and softball student-athletes, overseeing the implementation of student-athlete development/ leadership programming and identifying community engagement opportunities for student-athletes. Lucy also served as the liaison to the Office of Community Engagement and Service as well as Student Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR). Prior to NCCU, Lucy served as an Academic Coordinator for the Women’s Track & Field and Cross Country teams as well as the Tutorial Coordinator at the University of Central Florida.
A native of Georgia, Lucy is a graduate of UNC Greensboro where she was a member of the women’s basketball team and the program’s first CoSIDA First Team Academic All-American. While at UNC Greensboro, she double majored in Economics and African American and African Diaspora Studies. Lucy also holds a masters degree in Sport Business from Temple University.
