Justin Jackson joined Monmouth University Athletics in March 2025 and serves as the assistant athletic director for NCAA Compliance. In this role, Jackson oversees day-to-day aspects of NCAA rules education, eligibility and regulatory adherence for the Hawks’ 24 varsity sports. He acts as a department liaison to campus partners, conference officials, and the NCAA on matters related to recruiting, financial aid, housing, amateurism, seasons of competition and student-athlete eligibility.

Jackson manages Teamworks Compliance + Recruiting and key NCAA applications, ensuring accurate data, efficient workflows and consistent application of institutional and NCAA policies. He administers initial and continuing eligibility certification, reviews and submits NCAA and conference waivers, coordinates transfer evaluations and provides rules interpretations to coaches and staff. Jackson also supports student-athlete development initiatives, serving as Co-Advisor to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and assisting in leadership and life-skills programming.

Prior to Monmouth, Jackson spent two years at Ferris State University as the compliance and student-athlete success coordinator. In that role, he led all day-to-day compliance operations, developed department-wide rules education, oversaw NIL policy updates, coordinated academic support initiatives, and served as the academic liaison for all sports. Jackson also revitalized the department’s community engagement efforts, helping student-athletes log more than 1,500 service hours in 2023-24. He additionally served as the SAAC advisor, created the university’s first student-athlete career fair and assisted in securing the first team NIL deal for women’s basketball.

Jackson also brings coaching experience, serving as an assistant track & field coach at both Ferris State and Ohio University. During his tenure at Ferris State, every athlete in his sprints, jumps, and hurdles group achieved personal records, and the group posted its highest point total since 2015.

Before beginning his professional career, Jackson worked in the Ohio University Athletics compliance office while completing his graduate studies. He supported certification processes for multiple sports and coordinated documentation, amateurism reviews, and communication between coaches, student-athletes and campus departments.

A former NCAA Division II student-athlete, Jackson competed in track & field at Nova Southeastern University, where he was a team captain and SAAC executive board member. He holds an MBA and a master of sport administration from Ohio University, along with a bachelor’s degree in sport and recreation management from Nova Southeastern University.
