Biography
High School: Was a four-year letterwinner in track and field under coach Tom Reynolds at Somerville High School... Earned First Team All-Skyland Conference in the long jump as a senior... Named first team all-conference in the triple jump during his junior campaign... Helped the Pioneers to numerous Skyland Conference Relay Championships and the Central Jersey Group II Sectional Championship in 2006 and 2007... Finished fifth in the long jump at the state sections in 2006... Had seven top-four performances as a senior in the long jump, triple jump and discus... Also was a First Team All-Skyland Conference selection in basketball, where he played two years under Joe D'Alessandro.
Personal: Born on Feb. 3, 1989... Son of Louis and Patricia Appezzato... plans to major in health studies and communications.
