HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in track and cross country at Eleanor Roosevelt... Earned All-County honors in both cross country and indoor track in 2003 and 2004... Member of state championship teams in indoor track in 2001-02, cross country in 2004, and outdoor track in 2003 and 2005... Member of nationally ranked 4x800 indoor relay team in 2004-05... 4x800 relay team placed fourth at the Nike Indoor Nationals in 2004.

Personal: Born February 9, 1987... Daughter of Jeanette Pirela... Majoring in art and graphic design.
