Biography

Losey has been named Most Outstanding Track Performer a total of three times in her career (one indoor, two outdoor)

2009-10 (Senior): Indoor: Finished first amongst her peers with a time of 7.77 in the 60 meter dash and broke her own school-record, turning in a time of 40.25 in the 300 m at the Inaugural MAC Classic... Ran in the 4x400m relay with a time of 4:03.85 at the Princeton New Year Invitational... Finished second again with a time of 7.70 in the 60 m sprint breaking the MU school record and finished second in the 400 meter dash, posting a time of 56.12 - second best in school history - and qualifying her for the ECAC Championships at the Metro Coaches Invitational... Named Road Runner Sports NEC Indoor Women's Track Athlete of the Week on 1/12... Placed first in the 200m with a time of 25.54 and in the 60 with her finish of 7.71, giving her the second best finish in school history at the dual meet with Rider... Posted back-to-back ECAC qualifying times and broke school records in the 55 meter sprint (7.12) and the 200 meter dash (24.63) and was a part of the ECAC qualifying third place 4x400m relaying at Great Dane Classic. Earned Road Runner Sports NEC Women's Track Athlete of the Week  award on 1/26... Ended the 400 meter dash in 56.29 finishing sixth, was also a part of the 4x400 relay that finished second with a time of 3:52, and a part of the distant medley that posted their own ECAC qualifying time (12:04.52) on their way to a third place finish at the Terrier Invitational... Ran in the 200 meter run (24.61) and the 400 meter run (55.64) as she finished eighth and sixth in the events (and breaking both MU school records) at the Sykes-Sabock Challenge Cup... Named Road Runner Sports NEC Women's Track Athlete of the Week on 2/9... Finished in second place at the 60 meter sprint w/time of 7.68 - broke the school record for the third time this season in that event - at the Lafayette/Rider Invitational... Named Road Runner Sports NEC Women's Track Athlete of the Week on 2/16... Outdoor: Red-shirt due to injury

2008-09 (Junior): Indoor: Took second with her time of 57.32 in 400m and also the lead runner in Monmouth's victorious 4x400 relay team at NYC Gotham Cup... Was third in the 400m with her time of 57.38 at Terrier Classic... Member of MU's sixth place 4x400 relay team at Terrier Classic... Member of the 4x400 relay team who recorded fifth best time in school history (3:50.56) at Penn State Nationals... At Yale Invite, finished fourth in the 200m crossing the tap in 25.55 and earned a bid to the 2009 ECAC Indoor Championships with her first place time of 56.23 in the 400m... NAMED NEC ROADRUNNER SPORTS RUNNER OF THE WEEK ON 2.17... Took first in 56.58in the 400m... Finished third in the 200m with a time of 25.38, was seventh in the 60m dash crossing the tape in 7.84, and was a leg on the winning 4x400 relay team at the NEC Championships earning All-NEC First-Team honors... Named All-East  in the 400m, where she finished in sixth place with her time of 55:85 ECAC/IC4A Championships... Also earned All-East honors as part of Monmouth's seventh place 4x400 relay team at the ECAC/IC4A Championships Outdoor: Took sixth in the 400m with her time of 56.40 at 2009 Colonial Relays... Named Road Runner Sports NEC Track & Field Athlete of the Week on 4.15... Broke her own meet record in the 400m, crossing the tape in 55.36 while also taking first in the 200m with a time of 25.11 at the Greyhound Classic... Was a part of the 4x200 relay team which set a new school record with their time of 1:40.50 at Penn Relays... Named the NEC Most Outstanding Track Performer for the second straight outdoor season - won the 200m, 400m, 4x400 relay and took third in the 4x100 relay  to be named to the All-NEC First-Team in three events at the NEC Championships set a new school record in 400m with her time of 54:70 at the ECAC Division I Championships.

2007-08 (Sophomore): Indoor: Became the first Monmouth female athlete to earn an All-East honor in the 400m, finishing eighth with a time of 56.70... She clinched a spot in the 400m on the first day on the IC4A/ECAC with her time of 56.02, and was part of a 4x400 relay team that ran a season best time of 3:53 at the IC4A/ECAC Championships... Won the 400m in 56.81, took second in the 200m dash finals in 25.40 and earned a spot on the All-NEC Second Team, part of a 4x400 relay team that earned first place, finished fourth in the 60m dash, and was named Most Outstanding Track Performer and the First Team All-NEC at the NEC Indoor Championships... Finished sixth in the 500m and was part of a relay team that finished second running a time of 3:55 at the 2007 Princeton Invitational... Had a pair of second place finishes at the Seton Hall Classic, including a time of 58.77 in the 400m and a time of 7.88 in the 60m... Part of a 4x400 relay squad that qualified for the ECAC and placed third at the Penn Relays with a time of 3:51.63... Placed fourth in the 400m and was part of a 4x400 team that placed third in the finals with their time of 3:54.57 at the NYU Gotham Cup... Placed third as part of a 4x400 team, fourth in the 55m dash and finished fourth in the 400m as well at the Great Dane Invitational... Part of a distance medley relay finished first at the NYU Fast Track with a school record time (12:01.23),which qualified the squad for next week's ECAC's... Outdoor: Part of a 4x400 team that ran a time of 3:46.45 for 18th place at the NCAA East Regional Championship... Finished 14th in the 400m and was part of a 4x100 relay team which finished in 18th place with their best time of the season, clocking in at 47.77 at the ECAC championships... Received three mentions to the All-NEC First Team as part of a 4x400 team that captured first place for the second straight year, crossing the finish line in 3:48.64, and she also won the 200m dash in 24.92 and broke a school record with her victory in the 400m in 55.02 and was named Most Outstanding Track Athlete at the NEC Championships... Finished first in the 400m with her time of 57.64, placed fourth in the 200m, and was part of a 4x100 relay team that placed third overall, finishing in 49.10 at the MU Season Opener... named the NEC Track Athlete of the Week for the week of 4/01/08... Part of a and a third place 4x400m relay team that qualified for the ECAC's with a 3:50.25 finish, and a 4x200m relay team that took fourth and placed eighth in the 400m at the Colonial Relays... Finished fifth in the 400m dash at the UVA Invite... won the 400 on the women's side in 55.95 at the Greyhound Invitational, which qualified her for the ECAC Championships and ranked as one of the top times in school history, and she also finished 2nd in the 200 in a time of 25.30 and led off the 4th place 4x100 relay team, and in addition, was part of a 4x100 team that took fourth at the Greyhound Invitational... Part of a 4x200 relay team that ran a time of 1:41.48, which is the second fastest time in school history, and was part of a 4x100 relay team that finished second in their heat with a time of 48.12, which qualified them for the ECAC Division I Championships and was part of a 4x400 relay team took first in their section with a time of 3:47.14, narrowly missing the ECAC final at the Penn Relays.

2006-07 (Freshman): Indoor: Was part of the 4x400m relay team that finished first at the NEC Indoor Championship meet earning All-NEC First-Team honors, running a time of 3:52.39; placed second in the 400m (57.21) and sixth in the 200m (25.90)... Finished fourth in the 4x400m relay (3:47.08) at the ECAC Championships... Took first place in 4x400m relay at Princeton Invitational... Earned fourth best finish in school history in 4x400m relay with a time of 3:51.05 and ran the fastest time for a freshman in the 400m with a time of 57.13 at the NYC Gotham Cup... Ran a 25.92 200m at the Great Dane Classic, good enough for ninth place and walked away with a second place finish in both the 400m (56.70) and the 4x400m relay (3:50.33)... Took home first place honors as part of the 4x400 relay squad at the Terrier Classic, which broke the tape in 3:54.34, placed second in the 400m (57.14) and eighth overall in the 200m (25.77)... Finished fourth overall in the 4x400m relay with a Monmouth record-setting time of 3:49.25 at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational... Took home a first place finish in the 400m at the NYU Fastrack, running a blistering 56.14, earning her the top spot in the Monmouth record books... Earned NEC Rookie of the Week honors for the week of 1/30/07 Outdoor: Competed at the NCAA East Regional as part of MU's 4x400 relay team... Part of MU's winning 4x400 relay team at the NEC Championships earning All-NEC First-Team honors... Took fourth at the same event in the 400m... Ran on the third-place 4x400 relay team in the ECAC Championship portion of the Penn Relays... Ran on the second place 4x100 relay team (48.55), finished sixth in the 400m (57.69) and took home second place honors in the 200m (26.23) at the Monmouth Season Opener... Finished second in the 400m at the Moravian Greyhound Invitational, and was sixth in the 200m at the same event... Won the 400m dash at the Sam Howell Invitational, breaking the tape in 57.23... Part of the 4x100m relay that finished third in a time of 48.48 at the University of Virginia Invitational and placed fifth in the 400m, running a time of 57.62.

High School: Helped Piscataway capture the 2005 Indoor NJ State Championship under coach Keith Brunson... Earned All-American Honors... Participated in Nationals as a senior... Was County Champion in the 400 meters as a junior, and State Champion as a senior.

Personal: Born on Dec. 19, 1987... Daughter of David and Lisa Losey... Majoring in communications.
