Former Northeast Conference discus champion?One of the top returning throwers in the conference?Leads a strong group of senior throwers along with Katrina Hanson and Kate Lyon.
2004 Outdoor: Second in the hammer throw (164?3??) and eighth in the shot put (39?71/4) at NEC Championships? Recorded an 18th-place showing at ECAC Championships with a heave of 159?8??.
2004 Indoor: Took sixth place at the NEC Indoor Championships in the weight (48?2.50?).
2003 [Indoor]: Took 11th in the shot put at the Bison Open (Bucknell University)? Took 6th in the shot put and 5th in the weight throw at the West Point Invitational
2003 [Outdoor]: Won the discus at the Monmouth Season Opener with a heave of 137-4, breaking the old freshman record by almost 10 feet? Took 6th in the discus and 4thn in the hammer throw at the Lou Onesty Invitational? Placed 6th in the shot put, 2nd in the discus, and 3rd in the hammer throw at the Lehigh Invitational
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned eight letters in indoor and outdoor track and field... Helped guide outdoor squad to back-to-back two State Group III titles... Set school records in the discus and shot (indoor & outdoor)... Earned all-state honors in discus as a senior... Also set Monmouth County discus record with toss of 146'.
PERSONAL: Born Katharine Jane Pachuta on February 26, 1983 in Edison, N.J... Daughter of Richard and Jane Pachuta... Major is currently undecided.
