Colton Lambert officially joined the Monmouth University Track & Field coaching staff in December 2022 after being a volunteer for a few months. In his role as an assistant, he'll primarily work with the Hawk pole vaulters.
Lambert is originally from Howell, New Jersey where he competed with the Rebels of Howell High School and finished in second place at the New Jersey Meet of Champions. After high school he followed his athletic dreams to compete at Monmouth University, where he was quickly named captain of the men’s pole vault squad during his freshman year. Lambert helped the Hawks win indoor and outdoor NEC titles in 2012-2013, along with three indoor and three outdoor MAAC titles from 2013-2016.
Lambert’s time at Monmouth was highly involved with Residential Life where he was an Resident Assistant, Desk Assistant Manager, and Orientation Leader. He stayed involved with events hosted by Alpha Kappa Alpha, the Alternative Spring Break trip to Guatemala, and the Monmouth Supporter section for all sports on campus.Â
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in computer science with minors in business administrations and public relations, finishing with a major GPA of 3.5.
