Michael Badway joins Monmouth University men?s and women?s cross country and track & field program as an assistant coach where he will focus on distance events. Badway received a B.A. from East Stroudsburg University and furthered his education by completing a master?s degree program in 2005 from ESU. While pursuing his degree, Badway was an assistant coach for their cross country and track & field program from January 2004 to May 2005.
Badway competed on the Warriors cross country and track & field teams and in his sophomore and senior campaigns he was selected as the recipient of the Coaches Award. The award is presented to the athlete who has given most to their team, both on and off the field.
In two out of his four years running cross country, Badway was a two-time regional qualifier. After his freshman campaign in 1999, Badway was named to the ECAC All-East Indoor Track squad.
Badway is engaged to Kari Radcliffe and resides in Oceanport, N.J.
