Alissa DiGuglielmo joined the Monmouth staff as the Assistant Director of Athletic Performance in February of 2024. In that role she works with the football, tennis, golf, cross country and track and field teams.Â

DiGuglielmo comes to Monmouth after serving as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Delaware since March 2022. There she worked to design, implement and lead the preseason, in-season and post season programs for swimming and diving, men’s soccer, golf, women’s cross country and track field while assisting with other programs.Â

She worked with Statsports GPS, Elite-Form and Sparta Science programs to manage her student-athletes’ training loads. DiGuglielmo worked with a pair of student-athletes who advanced to national meets.

Prior to that, DiGuglielmo served on the staff at the United States Military Academy from August 2021 till February 2022. There she worked with a variety of teams and led the warmups, lifts, and conditioning sessions. DiGuglielmo worked with the Polar GPS and supervised testing for teams.

She has served as a strength and condition intern at the University of Delaware and graduate fellow at Tufts University.Â

DiGuglielmo has a CSCCA Strength and Conditioning Coach Certification and is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

She earned her bachelors of science in health and exercise physiology from Ursinus College in May of 2020. She was a member of the golf team at Ursinus. DiGuglielmo earned her masters in exercise and sports science from Merrimack in May of 2021.
