One of the finest defensive players in Monmouth women's soccer history, Allison Simpson begins her second year as a Hawks assistant. Currently working towards her MBA, the Staten Island, N.Y., native will work with the MU defense, passing on her knowledge and experience.
As a player, Simpson started 82 career games (every game she was eligible for), anchoring the MU defense for four seasons. She finished her career with two goals and 13 assists for 17 points. An All-NEC performer in 1998 and '99, Simpson was a Regional All-American in 1999.
A regular on the NEC Academic Honor Roll, the 22-year old Simpson graduated from Monmouth with a degree in finance.
