Tim McGeeney joined the Monmouth staff as an assistant coach in the summer of 2018.

A former All-American goalie for Loyola College, McGeeney has made stops as a volunteer at Rutgers, McDonogh (MD), Team Turnpike and was recently the Director and Head Coach at Briarcrest Christian School in Memphis, TN.

McGeeney was a four-year starter at Loyola University and was a three-time All-American, two-time team captain and two-time team MVP. He was voted top male student-athlete his senior year and participated in the North/South game. He was a member of the Dean's List at the Sellinger School of Business and graduated in 1995 with a BA in Finance. In 2014, he was voted into the Loyola University Athletic Hall of Fame. After college he played profession lacrosse for the Chesapeake Bayhawks in the inaugural two years of the MLL. He was also a member of the 19-&-Under US Men's National Team in 1992 that won a gold medal and was an Alternate for the US Men's National Team in 1998. 

An All-American goalie and North/South participant at North County High School outside of Baltimore, he was named Player-of-the-Year in Maryland as a senior in 1991.
