In summer of 2017, Dorrien Van Dyke was named Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Monmouth University.
Van Dyke was a prolific offensive weapon for one of the most potent offenses in the country in Stony Brook. She earned All-American honors as a senior, finishing ranked second in Stony Brook history in goals (195), sixth in assists (81) and third in points (266). The Northport, NY native was a two-time First Team All-Region selection, a three-time First Team All-America East honoree and was named as a Tewaraaton Award finalist as a senior. During her time on Long Island, the midfielder helped guide the Seawolves to four straight America East Championships and NCAA appearances, as well as a No. 3 ranking and a berth to the NCAA Quarterfinals in 2017.
She was an all-conference selection in both lacrosse and basketball at Northport High School on Long Island.
