Ashley Waldman begins her third season as an assistant coach on the Monmouth staff.

In her first two seasons mentoring the MU midfield, Waldman helped six players to All-Northeast Conference honors, including first team selections Megan Brennan and Shawn Evans.

Waldman also serves as video and tape exchange coordinator and handle the lacrosse alumni affairs and community service initiatives. The Oceanport, N.J., native will also serve as assistant director of all lacrosse camps and clinics.

The former Hawk midfielder earned All-Northeast Conference honors her final three seasons, including first team nods as a junior and senior. She completed her career ranking eighth all-time in school history in points (126) and ninth in assists (37), while scoring 89 career goals. Monmouth was 54-23 overall, while earning a 29-5 record in Northeast Conference play during her four campaigns. Waldman was part of two Northeast Conference Tournament Championship teams, earning a spot on the all-tournament team in 2006.

Waldman is currently earning her Masters degree in education.
