2004 (Senior, Rutgers): Played in 9 games for the Scarlet Knights, starting all of them... Picked up 17 ground balls and caused 17 turnovers for the season... Ended the year with a goal and an assist... Grabbed two ground balls and two draw controls at No. 2 Georgetown (3/29)... Tabbed five ground balls and caused four turnovers in win over Villanova (3/31)... Scored a goal and caused one turnover against No. 14 Yale (4/7)... Grabbed four draw controls and a ground ball in game against Old Dominion (4/27).

2003 (Junior, Rutgers): Started in all 16 games... Named Rutger?s Most Improved Player at the team?s postseason banquet... Finished second on the team with 33 ground balls and 21 caused turnovers... Tied for ninth in the Big East standings for overall caused turnovers, tied for fifth in conference-only games with 10... Won three draws at No. 6 Cornell (3/8)... Caused two turnovers against Delaware (3/11) and Hofstra (3/15)... Scored her first career goal against Cornell (3/19)... Picked up three ground balls at Saint Joseph?s (3/21) and No. 8 Syracuse (4/5)... Collected five ground balls against No. 14 Yale (4/9) and UConn (4/12)... Scored against Manhattan (4/15), causing three Jasper turnovers... Had four ground balls against Virginia Tech (4/21).

2002 (Sophomore, Rutgers): Missed the first half of the season due to injury, but was a key player coming off the bench in nine games... Had one shot on goal while collecting two draws, two caused turnovers and two ground balls.

High School: Lacrosse standout at Monsignor Donovan in Toms River, N.J... Captained lacrosse team as a junior and senior while collecting MVP honors... Named the "Best Offensive Player" as a junior... All-Ocean County and All-Shore in 1998, 1999, and 2000... Also earned letters in swimming and soccer... As a soccer player, named MVP as a senior... Named All-Ocean County as a sophomore and junior.

Personal: Daughter of William and Victoria Hiering... Majored in Psychology at Rutgers University... Attending graduate school at Monmouth for Education.
