Biography
2020-21 (Senior): Played in eight-plus rounds, posting an 81.8 stroke average… Finished tied for seventh at both the first and third Monmouth Spring Series events… Low round of season came in final event, carding a 76 at the SHU Spring Invitational.
2019-20 (Junior): Played in 13 tournaments for the Hawks as a junior… Posted a stroke average of 82… Placed in top-10 four times, with three top-five finishes and a win… Tied for 10th at Hartford after posting an opening round 72… Placed third in the Hofstra Fall Shootout with a 79… Won the Monmouth Fall Shootout by four shots, carding a 77… Ranked fourth at the Vanessa Picciotto Perrine Memorial Tournament.
2018-19 (Sophomore): Played in all 22 rounds and 10 tournaments… Posted a 76 in the final round at Brown (10/18)… Finished eighth after carding a 75 in final round at Navy (4/13-14)… Placed 16th in the MAAC after shooting 79 in the middle round in Orlando (4/18-20).
2017-18 (Freshman): Saw action in six events in her first year in the Blue and White.. Made collegiate debut at the Tignanelli Towson Invitational (9/10-11) posting a 36-hole score of 163 (82-81)... Carded rounds of 88 and 80 at the Hartford Invitational (9/30-10/1)... Closed out the fall with back-to-back rounds of 81 (162) at the Lehigh Invitational (10/22-23)… Recorded back-to-back rounds of 82 at the Benbow Invitational (3/12-13)… Posted rounds of 83 and 85 at the Bulldog Florida Invitational (3/14-15) for her first career top-five finish.
Before Monmouth: Competed for the Hatters of Hatboro-Horsham High School... Helped lead team to a pair of state tournament appearances... Four-time All-Conference and team MVP honoree... Tabbed as all-area three times... Qualified for the district tournament all four years, while earning a spot in the regional tournament in during the senior season.
Personal: Daughter of James and Michele Gavaghan... Majoring in biology.
