Nanna Rivers

Nanna Rivers enters her second season as an assistant on the Monmouth bench after spending three seasons at Seton Hall University under Head Coach Anne Donovan. A 2004 graduate of North Carolina State University, Rivers was a four year letter winner and defensive force at State. She was named to the 2004 ACC All-Defensive Team, becoming just the second Wolfpack player to earn the honor. She helped N.C. State to three NCAA Tournaments, including one Sweet Sixteen appearance.

Rivers is heavily involved in player development, summer camps, game and opponents’ film, the development of game/practice breakdowns and recruiting.

After college, Rivers played professional basketball in Holland, Germany , Poland, and Finland. She was the leading scorer for the Yellow Bikes of Holland and led them to two National Championships before returning to the U.S. to begin her coaching career.
