Emily Culmone joined the Monmouth University women's rowing coaching staff prior to the start of the 2024-25 season and continues to help the Hawks made strides in the CAA.

The Hawks have seen three student-athletes earn All-CAA honors and three student-athletes earn a spot on the FSN Watch List since Culmone joined the staff.
Culmone has a strong background in rowing, both as a student-athlete and coach. She competed as a collegiate varsity rower at Stockton University from 2019 to 2023, holding the position of bow seat in the Varsity 8 boat and was also a team captain for the Ospreys. Her coaching experience includes working as an Assistant Women's Rowing Coach at Nova Southeastern University, where she executed practice plans, recruited athletes, and managed team logistics in 2023 and 2024. Additionally, she worked as an assistant coach and safety director at Stockton University's Summer Youth Rowing Camp in 2021, focusing on teaching rowing techniques and ensuring safety protocols?.
Culmone has served as a lifeguard with the Upper Township Beach Patrol since 2016 and worked as an aide at Y.A.L.E School in 2023.Â
