Biography
2009-10 (Graduate): Outdoor: Qualified for the IC4A championships in the men's 110 meter high hurdles a time of 14.66 and took a sixth place finishing leap of 22' 7.25" in the long jump at the Tennessee Sea Ray Relays... Paced the men's side in the 110 hurdles as he crossed the tape in 14.60 and finished fourth place in the 400 meter hurdles (56.39) at the Greyhound Invitational... In the 110 hurdles, took home the medalist win (14.61) at the Lehigh Games... Took second in the long jump with a jump of 24' 4.5" earning All-NEC Second-Team honors and won the 110 meter high hurdles (14.40) taking home All-NEC First-Team awards and took fourth in 54.09 in the NEC Championships.
2006-09 @ Georgetown University: Standout hurlder and jumper for coach's Ron Helmer, and Pat Henner... Seven-time All-BIG EAST honoree... Was a three-time BIG EAST top-three finisher in 110 meter high hurdles... Named BIG EAST runner-up in 110 high hurdles in 2006... Also named a BIG EAST Scholar Athlete.
High School: Ran track for Coach Walter Larkin Jr. at Edison tech High School... Teams went undefeated all four years... Holds records in the 110m and 400m hurdles... Was an eight-time Greater Rochester First-Team honoree for track and field... Also an 11-time Section V individual event winner.
Personal: Born on October 10th, 1986 ... Son of Dennis and Brenda Gissendanner ... Graduate of Georgetown University in 2009... Cousin of standout MU hurdler, Sonya Sullivan.
