Biography
2006 Outdoor: Placed second in the NEC men’s hammer and qualified for the IC4A Championships with a throw of 171’1.5”...Placed in teh hammer and discus at several other meets.
2006 Indoor: Seventh in the weight throw at the Great Dane Classic with a distance of 52’4.5”.
2005 Outdoor: Competed in hammer throw.
2005 Indoor: Placed sixth at NEC Championships in the weight throw (50’3.5”).
2004 Outdoor: Placed eighth at NEC Championships in the hammer throw with a heave of 147’... Placed fifth in the weight throw at the Thomson Invitational at the University of Delaware.
2004 Indoor: Finished seventh in the weight throw (50’6”) at the NEC Indoor Championships.
Personal: Earned a degree in criminal justice in May 2006...Currently enrolled in Monmouth’s Master’s degree program working towards his degree in crminal justice... Son of Edward and Joanne Connell... Born March 29, 1984... Four-year football letterwinner at St. Peter’s Prep in Jersey City... Helped lead squad to Hudson County Championships in 2000 and 2001... Earned second-team All-Hudson County from the Newark Star-Ledger and first-team All-Hudson County from the Jersey Journal as an offensive lineman in 2001.
