Pole Vault- 4.90m - MAAC Indoor Track and Field Chamionships -  2/19/22

2021-22 (Senior): Competed in the pole vault … 2022 Chi Alpha Sigma Honoree … Member of the MAAC All-Academic Teams for indoor track and field and outdoor track and field.
 
Indoor: Won a gold medal at the MAAC Indoor Track and Field Championships with a new school-record mark of 4.90m (2/20).
 
Outdoor: Earned a silver medal at the MAAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a mark of 4.20m (5/8) … Finished second with a mark of 4.70m at Moravian’s Greyhound Invitational (4/15).

2019-20: Competed in the pole vault as a sophomore ... Set personal best in the pole vault (4.81m) ... Finished first at the MAAC Indoor Championships in the pole vault ... MAAC All-Academic Team.

2018-19: Competed in the pole vault as a freshman ... Finished first at the MAAC Outdoor Championships ... Placed first at the Armory Last Chance in the pole vault (4.70m) ... Won the pole vault (4.50m) at the MAAC Indoor Championships.
 
Before Monmouth: Pole vaulter at William Tennent for Coach Brian Mondschein... First team all-league as a junior... Second team all-district as a junior... state medalist as a junior for both indoor and outdoor... national qualifier as a junior... personal best of 14'7.25 while in high school... competed for club team Philadelphia Jumps Club... also played soccer for the Panthers

Personal: Son of Wendy and Mark Showmaker... graduated with distinguished honors and was a member of the National Honor Society ... plans to major in criminal justice and homeland security.
