Before Monmouth: Played running back, wide out and long snapped at Charleston University (WV)... Team compiled a 30-14 record while Drake was on the team, reaching top-10 in the polls a number of times.

High School: Played runningback and linebacker under Coach John Ianucci at Cherry Hill East High School... Set the school record for rushing yards in a season with 1,440... Finished his career with 2,400 yards and 30 touchdowns in two years of playing offense... Two-time All-Olympic Conference selection... Recorded 300 tackles, three INTs, 10 forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries at linebacker... Also had four kick returns for touchdowns... Ran track for the Cougars.
