Biography
2014-15 (Sophomore): Competed in 16 events for the Blue and White since joining the team in January… Named to the All-MAAC First Team at No. 1 doubles along with Victor Pugliese… Compiled a 10-6 overall record, playing majority at No. 4… Named MAAC Player of the Week in February… Earned victories against opponents from Sacred Heart, George Wasington, Drexel, NJIT, Radford, Siena, Hofstra, Marist, Rider, and Fairfield… Posted a perfect 5-0 record at No. 1 doubles with Pugliese… Also earned a trio of doubles wins with Christian Vieira and Bee Kumthonkittikul.
Before Monmouth: Competed on the national level, winning five of six men’s tournament in India including the Fenesta Nationals, the biggest U-18 competition in the country… Ranked 481 in the ITF juniors.
Personal: Son of Dharmesh and Jasmine Vaghela… Majoring in business administration.
