- Set a new team record and won a bronze medal with the 800-yard freestyle relay team (6:41.95) at the MAAC Championships

- Set a new MAAC record (1:43.92) in the 200-yard backstroke and also was an NCAA B-Cut time
- Part of the men's 200-yard medley relay team that placed third and broke a school record with a time of 1:30.42
- Part of the men's 800-yard freestyle relay team that placed sixth and broke a school record with a time of 6:45.22

- Set a new school record of 9:40.88 in the 1000-yard freestyle, beating Frank Christian's previous program record time of 9:42.30, set in 1979 against Iona (11/8)

- Earned Team's Most Valuable Athlete Award
2018-19:
- Earned 31 first-place finishes as a freshman
- Secured MAAC Rookie of the Meet Honors after his performance at the MAAC Championships where he won the 500-yard freestyle and had two second-place finishes in the 200 free and 200 back
- With his gold medal in the 500 free, Smith became the first Monmouth swimmer to win an individual event at the MAAC Championships, and he set the program record with his time of 4:28.14
- Owns five individual team records (100 free, 200 free, 500 free, 100 back and 200 back)
- Part of the men's 800-yard freestyle relay team that broke the school record at the MAAC Championships with a time of 6:49.42
- Part of the 400-yard medley relay that broke the school record while also earning the bronze medal with a time of 3:21.08 at the MAAC Championships
- Also a member of the 400-yard freestyle relay team that broke the school record (3:04.13) at the MAAC Championships
- Four-time MAAC Swimmer of the Week award winner
- Named to the 2019 Australian Life Saving Team's Pathways Squad
Before Monmouth:
- Competed in the backstroke and freestyle at St. Marks Anglican Community School for coach Bud McAllister
- All-State Team all four years of high school
- Three-time National Finalist
- Personal best times include 52.95 in the 100 free (LCM), 1:56.56 in the 200 free (LCM), 58.56 in the 100 back (LCM) and 2:06.12 in the 200 back (LCM)
- Competed for the Breakers Swim Club
- Also was a member of Australian Football League and Surf Life Saving
- Earned a number of academic honors, including Award of Academic Excellence 2015-2016, Principal Award 2012-2016, Maths extension 2013-2014, Full House Colours Swimming, Full House Colours Athletics and was a member of School Sports Honour Board from 2012-17
