Attended Gisborne Boys’ High School in Gisborne, New Zealand
Competed for head coach Glenn Hamblyn in high school and club swimming for Comet Swimming Club
Swam in freestyle and backstroke events
Top short course meters times include 56.75 in the 100m free, 1:51.92 in the 200m free, 3:59.80 in the 400m free, 56.75 in the 100 back and 2:01.52 in the 200 back
Won the national title in the 200m backstroke for the 17-18 year old age group in 2023
Multiple national and regional medalist winner in various short course meters and long course meters events
Also competed in Surf Life Saving
National Title holder in various events at the SLSNZ Nationals in 2023 with 10 national medals overall
