Evan Unger

Evan Unger enters his sixth season as an assistant coach with the Monmouth University men's soccer program. Unger will be responsible for helping with all aspects of the program, including coaching, planning, scheduling and fundraising.

A 2010 Monmouth University graduate, Unger played for the Hawks in 2005 and 2006, winning a pair of Northeast Conference Regular Season titles and a league tournament crown. The New Rochelle, N.Y. native was on the first MU team that head coach Robert McCourt guided to the NCAA Tournament in 2006.

Unger, a 2005 graduate of New Rochelle High School, was also a member of the Rhode Island Stingrays of the Premier Development League from 2007-09. In 2010, he was the general manager of the New Jersey Wildcats of the WUSL, in addition to working with the Oceanport Soccer Academy.
