Biography
2017-18 (Sophomore): One of two Hawks to compete in all 11 rounds in the fall… Opened up the season with three-over-par 147 (74-73) at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate (9/9-10), good for 12th overall… Fired 79 at the Monmouth Fall Invitational (9/21)… Finished Binghamton’s Mathews Auto Collegiate (10/1-2) with four-under-par 140 (71-69) and earned medalists honors via tiebreaker for his first career tournament victory… Fired rounds of 73 and 72 to finish the Bucknell Invitational (10/7-8) with 145 and a share of 15th… Completed the fall season with 161 and 162 at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate (10/16-17) and Lehigh Intercollegiate (10/20-21), respectively… Named the MAAC Golfer of the Month in October.
2016-17 (Freshman): Competed in four events for the Blue and White, two as an individual… Made collegiate debut at the Patriot Intercollegiate (9/25-26) compiling a 54-hole score of 257 (85-85-87)… Inked 78 at the Monmouth Invitational (10/13) to earn a share of 15th overall…. Compiled a 36-hole score of 167 (82-85) at the Lehigh Valley Invitational (4/2-3) in his spring opener… Fired a season-low and team-event low 73 at the Peacock Invitational (4/11)… Finished the year with an 82.1 stroke average.
High School: Competed for Head Coach Tim McGorry at Bethlehem Catholic… Helped lead the Hawks to a pair of top-five results in the district… Claimed first individually twice, including being the first freshman to win the event, along two other top-three results in the District 11 Championships… Finished first and second in East Penn Conference Championships and fifth in the state championships… Four-time MVP and Express Times All-Area Team recipient… All-State honoree.
Personal: Son of David and Mary Jo Maff… Majoring in business administration.
