Biography

2005-2006 (Sophomore): Led Monmouth for a second straight season in stroke average, posting a 75.0, in 22 rounds of action... Placed in the top-five on five occassions, including three individual medalist honors... Finished in the top-10 of an event seven times and in the top-20 in nine events... Opened season with a round of 70 at the Rutgers Invitational... Claimed second place at the St. Peter's Quad Match... Finished in 21st position at the Rehoboth Beach Invitational... Earned individual medalist honors as the Hawks won the ECAC Championship... Fired a low round of 64 on the second day to win the ECAC title... Earned first place at the Monmouth Quad Match... Earned medalist honors at the Mount St. Mary's Fall Invitational, carding back-to-back rounds of 74... Finished in the top-20 of the Hawk Invitational and Lafayette Invitational... Claimed second place at the Cape May Invitational, recording three rounds of 75... Finished in eighth position at the Scotty Duncan Memorial with a 74... Claimed second straight All-NEC honor with 10th place finish at the league championships.

2004-2005 (Freshman): Played 24 rounds for the Hawks, ending the season with a team-best 77.6 stroke average... Placed in the top-five five times during the year... Shot an opening round 74 at the Rehoboth Beach Invitational, en route to a fourth place tie... Placed fourth with a round of 77 at the Saint Peter’s Quad Match, leading the team to a first place finish... Fired a 158 over two rounds (84-74) at the Hofstra Invitational, finishing seventh... Posted a fourth place finish after an opening round 75 at the Cape May Invitational... Earned a second place finish after carding a 77 in MU’s victory over FDU, Lafayette and Wagner... Ended his rookie campaign with a season-high and team-best 72 in the first round and an overall score of 149 (72-77) in two rounds of the Northeast Conference Championships, on his way to a first place finish, the first time a Monmouth player has ever garnered championship honors.

High School: Four-year letterwinner in golf at Southern Regional H.S... Team combined for a 55-15 record, including an 18-1 and 19-2 mark in 2001 and 2002... Team won a division title during his freshman season... Squad won Group IV State Championship as a sophomore... Earned All-Shore Conference and all-county honors from 2002-2004... Named second-team all-state in 2002... Shore Conference medalist in 2003 and 2004, firing back-to-back record rounds of 73 and 67... Earned Ocean County medalist honors in 2002 with a 78... Claimed William Dear medalist honors in 2003... Averaged 36.6 per nine holes as a senior, cutting three strokes off his score from his sophomore campaign.
