Before Monmouth: Member of the of US Army… Broke the 12-mile ruck record (1:41.26) for the 75th Ranger regiment in 2012 during Ranger Assessment and Selection Program… Holds the Ranger Physical Assessment Test record with 21:36… Earned third place on the Fort Benning 2014 Army Ten Miler Team, which took first place at the 2014 Army Ten Miler (55:37).
DeSales: Competed for DeSales University, running for the cross country and track teams… Helped guide squad to 2011 track and field outdoor championship and to pair of third place cross country finishes in the Middle Atlantic Conference.
High School: Competed for the Bulldogs of Butler High School… Earned the 3200m conference championship in 2009… Named team captain in cross country, indoor and outdoor track… Earned first overall in four dual meets during the 2008 cross country campaign.
Personal: Son of Gerard Sclafani and Sandra Magnifico-Young… Majoring in accounting.
