2020-21 (Junior): Played in all 20 contests, starting six… Led Monmouth with 58 assists… Posted 2-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio… Had five assists on opening night vs. Hofstra (12/15)… Added another five helpers vs. Saint Peter’s (12/19)… Posted five more assists in win over Canisius (12/28)… Went for seven points, seven assists in win over Quinnipiac (1/15)… Season-best eight points came next night over Quinnipiac… Had four assists and four steals at Manhattan (2/6).

2019-20 (Sophomore): Started final 30 games of sophomore season, playing in 31… Named to MAAC All-Academic Team… Led Hawks with 107 assists… Tied for second on MU with 34 steals… Ranked sixth in the MAAC in assists and assists per game… marked third in the league in assist-turnover ratio at +2.1… Posted 3-1 assist-turnover ratio in conference play (72-24)… Opened season with seven-assist night at Lehigh (11/5)… Added five assists at Pitt (11/18)… Dished out six helpers at Siena (1/3)… Exploded for career-high 18 points on 7-12 shooting against Canisius (1/10)… Distributed seven assists against Quinnipiac (1/12)… Added eight points, four assists vs. Niagara (1/24)… Finished with 11 points, four assists and five rebounds in win at Iona (1/26)… Followed that with 12 points on 5-6 shooting at Saint Peter’s (1/29)… Contributed eight points, three assists at Canisius (2/14)… Pitched in six assists vs. Quinnipiac in a win (2/23)… In regular season finale vs. Siena, posted career-high 11 assists (3/6).

2018-19 (Freshman): Played in 32 games as a true freshman… One of five Hawks to post a positive assist-turnover ratio… Averaged 2.6 points per contest… Netted six points in collegiate debut against Lehigh (11/6)… Scored nine points and added two assist at Iona (1/3)… First double-figure game came vs. Saint Peter’s, finishing with 10 points (1/5)… Scored seven points and dished out three assists, hitting a three at Siena (1/14)… Season high four assists came at home against the Saints (1/31)… Scored six points in 11 minutes in MAAC semifinal win over Canisius (3/10).

HIGH SCHOOL: Chaput graduated from Saint Anthony High School in Texas after averaging 22 points, eight assists and two steals per game throughout his scholastic career. His final season with the Yellowjackets netted him a First-Team All-TAPPS Conference nod. The guard played with Yes 2 Success, helping them to a strong showing at the Adidas Gauntlet Tournament in 2017. He previously played scholastically at Pagé High School in Canada.
