Je’lon Hornbeak 2024-25 Monmouth Men’s Basketball

Je'lon Hornbeak

Hornbeak was added to the coaching staff in August 2024.

Hornbeak was a major part of both the 2015-16 and 2016-17 MAAC regular season championship teams, starting 49 games and playing in 68 across two seasons with 706 points. He was named to the MAAC All-Tournament Team in 2016 after going a perfect 7-7 from the field and 5-5 from three in the championship game. Hornbeak led MU to back-to-back NIT appearances, and helped set the program records for wins in a season with 28 and winning streak at 17.

"I'm super excited to welcome Je'lon back to our program," said Rice. "His time here as a player helped us produce some of the best seasons in my 13 years. We look forward to him taking this next step in his career in becoming an assistant basketball coach. Je'lon brings a wealth of experience on and off the floor and will be a great mentor to our players."

Hornbeak is a 2017 graduate of Monmouth University.
