2016-17 MAAC Sixth Man of the Year... 2017-18 All-MAAC Third Team.
2017-18 (Senior): Named to All-MAAC Third Team… Earned MAAC Player of the Week honors twice, coming on 1/29 and 12/16… Posted the first triple-double by a guard in school history, doing so at Yale on 12/22… Played in 30 games, starting 28… Only Hawk to play over 1,000 minutes, leading MU with 33.4 per contest… 107 made field goals ranked second on Monmouth… Led Blue and White in rebounding, grabbing 5.9 per contest and 177 overall… Topped Hawks in assists with 165 while averaging double figures in points for the first time in his career at 11.1… Dished out eight assists in win at Lehigh (11/14)… Had 19 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists in four overtime game vs. Penn, netting buzzer beaters to extend the game at the end of regulation and third overtime (11/25)… Notched first triple-double for a guard in Monmouth history at Yale with 11 points, 12 rebounds and 15 assists (12/22)… Went for 13 points, seven assists and eight rebounds at Quinnipiac (12/28)… Put home 22 points and snagged nine boards, going 8-10 from the field at Canisius (1/14)… Added 20 points and was a perfect 8-8 from the foul line vs. Siena (1/25)… Followed that with 24 and 12 rebounds in win at Nassau Coliseum over Marist (1/27)… Totaled another double-double at Rider with 18 points, 11 assists (1/29)… Went for 14 points, nine assists against Fairfleld (2/2)… Collected nine assists and 13 boards vs. Niagara (2/4)… Netted 24 in win at Siena (2/18).
2016-17 (Junior): Led all Monmouth guards in shooting percentage at 50.8%... Appeared in 33 games, starting one… Averaged 7.0 points per game and was fourth on the team with 46 assists… Was 4-for-5 with nine points against Cornell (11/22)… Netted 18 points on 6-7 FG and three assists vs. Princeton (12/22)… Scored a career-best 21 points and was 10-12 from the foul line, adding four assists vs. Marist (1/8)… Went for seven points and seven boards at Rider (2/6)… Finished the season with four straight games in double figures, including 10 points, three assists and five rebounds in the NIT against Ole Miss (3/14).
2015-16 (Sophomore): Played in all 36 games as a sophomore, averaging 5.2 points per game… Led the team in field goal percentage at 55.7%... Pitched in six points and four boards at UCLA (11/13)… Snagged eight rebounds at Rutgers (12/20)… Had nine points and five rebounds at Cornell (12/23)… Went 4-5 from the field, netting 12 points vs. Siena (2/1)… Scored a season-best 16 points against Fairfield (2/5)… Finished with 15 points on 6-11 FG against Iona (2/19)… Went for 10 points and seven boards vs. Rider (2/26)… Scored 12 points in MAAC quarterfinals vs. Rider before adding 10 against Fairfield in the semifinals (3/4-6).
2014-15 (Freshman): Appeard in all 33 games as a freshman... Added 2.8 points per game and 2.0 rebounds per contest... Added 53 assists, 17 steals and a block... Scored in double-figures three times, posting a season-high 12 points against Manhattan (2/1)... Dished out a season-best seven assists versus Marist (2/16)
BEFORE MONMOUTH: Two-sport standout at both St. Andrew's High School in Middletown, Delaware and Archbishop Carroll in Philadelphia as a senior... 1,000 point scorer in basketball as a guard, and highly-touted running back in football, where he received offers from Villanova and Coastal Carolina... Averaged 10 points per game and helped get Carroll into the PIAA Class AAA quarterfinals as a senior.
PERSONAL: Born Austin Reid Tilghman in Wilmington, Delaware... Son of Aaron and Ursula Tilghman... Majoring in communication.
