High School: Played three seasons under coach Tony Johnson at Bishop Guertin High School... The Cardinals were 35-1 with Tavaglini as a starter in three years with three New Hampshire Division II State Championships... Amassed 29 sacks and over 200 solo tackles in three years as a linebacker... Had 1,600 career rishing yards as a runningback, finishing his career with 25 touchdowns... Named First Team All-State and First Team Nashua Telegraph as a junior and senior... Served as team captain in 2006 and was named team MVP... Earned Second Team All-State honors as a sophomore.

Personal: Born on Jan. 22, 1988... Son of Steven and Dianne Travaglini... Plans to major in criminal justice.
