Named NEC Defensive Player of the Week after logging a career high 11 tackles and tying a school mark with two interceptions, including one in MU?s end zone while the Hawks were holding on to a 9-6 lead in win over Central Connecticut State.
2003 (Junior): Started all 12 games for the Hawks at cornerback... Ranked fifth on the squad with 55 tackles, including 45 solo stops (third on the team) and two tackles for loss of yardage... Intercepted two passes for 54 yards and returned one kickoff for 27 yards on the year... Grabbed first career interception in MU?s win over Albany... Registered team-high 10 tackles, two pass breakups and one interception returned 54 yards in loss to Central Connecticut State? Notched career-high 11 tackles, including 10 solo takedowns in Monmouth?s NEC Championship clinching win over St. Francis (Pa.)... Also recorded two pass breakups in win over the Red Flash.
2002 (Sophomore): Appeared in all 10 games for the Hawks as reserve defensive back and kickoff returner... Recorded one tackle on the season... Returned 16 punts for 300 yards on the season for a 18.8 yards per return average... Logged a career-long 62-yard kickoff return at Wagner.
2001 (Freshman): Did not see action as a freshman.
High School: Three-sport standout at Pequannock High School... Earned three varsity letters as a starting defensive back and running back for Coach Cosmo Lorusso... Earned all-county and all-conference honors on two occasions... Led Pequannock to back-to-back state titles in 1999 and 2000 and a combined 33-3 record during his three prep seasons... Lettered in baseball and basketball.
