2010 (Junior): Missed the 2010 season with an injury.
2009 (Sophomore): Appeared in all 11 games, starting eight of them at linebacker for the Hawks... Finished fourth on the Hawks in tackles with 58 stops, including 25 solo tackles... Had a career-high 10 tackles against CCSU (11/14)... Also had a blocked kick against the Blue Devils... Recorded nine tackles in a win over St. Francis (11/7)... Registered nine tackles against Coastal Carolina (9/12).
2008 (Freshman): Played in seven games for the Hawks... Made 15 tackles, 10 were solo... Tallied one tackle for a loss of 3 yards... Also recorded a pass breakup.
Before Monmouth: Transferred to Monmouth after spending one semester at Air Force Prep.
High School: Played three varsity seasons under coach Dan Makosy at Damascus High School... Earned Washington Post honorable mention All-MET honors... Named First Team All-Sentinal and All-Gazette as a junior and sophomore, respectively... Helped lead the Hornets to a State Championship as a junior... Damascus was Maryland 4A West Division Champions in 2006 and State runners up in 2004... Bonturi led the Hornets to 24-5 in his three years at Damascus... Was a member of the National Honors Society.
