Talented runner who will see time at running back and on special teams.

2009 (Senior): Battled injuries playing in four games as a redshirt senior...  recorded one tackle on special teams. 

2008 (Junior): Played in 10 games as a junior as a reserve running back and on special teams… Carried the ball three times for three yards against Duquesne (11/15)… Ended the season with 4 tackles on the year … Earned a spot on the NEC Academic Honor Roll.

2007 (Sophomore): Sat out due to NCAA Transfer legistlation after coming to Monmouth by way of the University of Richmond.

2006 (Freshman): Was a member of the University of Richmond’s football team but did not see playing time.

High School: Played four seasons under coach David Drozjock at West Essex High School... Started at running back and safety at West Essex... The Knights never had a losing season while Caprio was there, winning N.J. State Titles in 2003 and 2004... Averaged 9.98 yards per carry on 106 carries and 1058 yards in 2005... Also had 17 touchdowns and 1,638 total yards as a junior... Named First Team All-Essex County and First Team All-Iron Hills Conference as a junior... Named Star Ledger Offensive Junior of the Year... Played just three games as a senior due to injury... Also wrestled and played baseball for the Knights.

Personal: Born on Feb. 13, 1988... Son of Lawrence and Theresa Caprio... Majoring in accounting.
