Monmouth University Athletics

2015 (Junior):

• Appeared in all 11 games after moving to outside linebacker
• Registered 12 tackles, 10 of which were solo
• Had three tackles against Central Michigan (9/12)
• Also had three tackles in a win over Bryant (10/3)

2014 (Sophomore):

• Appeared in 10 games, starting in eight
• Finished season with 37 total tackles, 3 TFL's and 1 FF
• Recorded 1 interception, which was returned for a touchdown against Robert Morris (10/04)

2013 (Freshman):

• Appeared in 10 games as a freshman at safety and on special teams
• Made first career appearance at Montana State (8/29)
• Recorded first career tackle at Liberty (9/7), where he finished with two stops
• Finished season with 13 tackles, including 10 solo stops
• Had a career-high three tackles against Lehigh (9/21) and Holy Cross (9/14).

High School:

• Played linebacker under Coach Dan Higgins at Piscataway
• Helped lead the powerhouse Chiefs to NJ Group V North State Championship game and an 8-3 record in 2012
• Third Team All-State Group V selection as a senior
• Earned second team all-county honors
• Also a Second Team All-Area Group V selection
• Returned one interception for a touchdown
• Ran for 300 yards and a touchdown at fullback
• Recorded 74 tackles and four sacks as a junior, when Piscataway won the NJ Group IV State Championship.

• Son of Kevin and Charlene Butler... Plans to major in business management.
