2008 (Junior): Started in all 11 games for the Hawks… Finished the season third on the team with 47 tackles, a career high of 27 being solo stops… Had seven tackles, including four solo tackles and a sack against Rhode Island (8/30)… Registered four unassisted tackles and a pass break up against Saint Francis (10/4)… Had nine takedowns against Albany (11/1)… Had four tackles against Maine (9/6).

2007 (Sophomore): Played in all 10 games as a sophomore, starting the final two games of the season... Finished second on the Hawks in total tackles with 49, including 23 solo stops... Credited with a career-high 10 tackles in season opener at Maine (9/1)... Also had a pass breakup against the Black Bears... Recorded first career interception against St. Francis (11/3)... Had eight tackles, including five solo takedowns and a half a sack in loss to Albany (11/10)... Also had a fumble recovery in the game against the Great Danes... Tallied six tackles in Stony Brook (9/22) and Wagner (10/13) contests... Recorded at least one tackle in every game.

2006 (Freshman): Appeared in two games a true freshman before getting injured... Recorded two tackles on special teams.

High School: Played under Coach Mike Smith at Jackson Memorial High School ... helped the Jaguars to a 12-0 season and a State Championship as a senior... Was a First Team All-Shore selection at linebacker.

Personal: Born on Dec. 16, 1987... Son of Sherry and Larry Cella... Plans to major in criminal Justice.
