Biography

2013 (Junior): Started all 12 games at H-back... Also starred on special teams for the Hawks... finished with four receptions for 25 yards... Led the way for a pair of 1,000+ yard running backs... Monmouth was the only FCS team and just the second Division I team with a pair of 1,000 yard backs... Made first career reception for nine yards against Lehigh (9/21).

2012 (Sophomore): Appeared in six games at H-back and special teams... Had two assisted tackles on special teams.

2011 (Freshman): Did not see time at fullback as a true freshman.

High School: Played fullback under Coach Chris Phelps at Salisbury High School (CT)... Helped lead the Knights to a perfect 9-0 record and a New England Championship in 2010... Named team MVP and garnered the Edward C. Childs award... Recorded 55 tackles on defense as a senior.

Personal: Majoring in business administration... Son of MIchael and Margaret Mauro.
